My First Blog: Building in Public

This is my first blog.

I'm not writing because I have everything figured out. I'm writing because I want to learn, build, and grow in public.

Reaching Out... and Learning to Keep Going

When I started this journey, I was full of excitement. I reached out to mentors and experienced professionals, hoping to learn from their experiences, exchange ideas, and receive thoughtful feedback.

Some conversations were insightful and helped shape my thinking. Others were brief, and a few simply took a different direction than I had expected. Every interaction taught me something—whether it was about technology, communication, or the importance of continuing to build regardless of the outcome.

One lesson became clear: seeking guidance is valuable, but progress ultimately depends on consistently doing the work yourself. Mentors can offer perspective, but your growth comes from experimenting, learning from failures, and staying committed to your goals.

Today, I still believe in reaching out, asking questions, and learning from others. At the same time, I've learned not to wait for the perfect conversation or the perfect opportunity. Keep building, keep sharing, and let your work speak for itself.

What I Learned From the Silence

At first, I questioned myself. Was I asking the wrong questions? Was I not good enough?

Over time, I realized something important: every person's journey is different. Not everyone has the time to mentor. Not everyone is comfortable sharing their experience. And sometimes, people simply move in a different direction.

So instead of waiting for someone to open a door, I've decided to build my own.

Why I'm Building in Public

I don't know who will read these posts. I don't know who will support me. But I hope that somewhere, someone will connect with this journey, share their perspective, challenge my thinking, or simply remind me that I'm not building alone.

One lesson I've already learned is that there is rarely one perfect design or one perfect solution. Every problem can be solved in many different ways. The best ideas don't come from protecting knowledge — they come from sharing it, discussing it, improving it, and learning together.
